FNA Adjuster earns its place in the Blender library as a focused transform utility: extract rotation from a face, then tune position with the Jog-Dial in one flow. It was developed by Hugu's Works with AI used as a coding tool, while the creative decisions, design, and user support are handled by the human developer, hinata_hugu.
FNA Adjuster is a high-precision transform utility for Blender, built by Hugu's Works to handle object placement and alignment. FNA stands for Face Normal Align: the tool extracts rotation data directly from a mesh's faces so an object can be oriented to that geometry. Click any face in Object Mode, or select faces in Edit Mode, to re-orient the object's axes to the surface normal.
From there, a Jog-Dial system takes over the fine-tuning. Click and hold the dedicated Jog buttons to rotate or move the object with the mouse, and scroll the mouse wheel mid-drag to shift from high-speed placement to sub-millimeter precision. Infinite RGB axis lines appear during the operation and respect Local or World settings, while pressing ESC or right-click reverts the object to its original state.
The addon is aimed at hard-surface modeling, environment art and set-dressing, and precision engineering. It is compatible with Blender 4.1, 4.2 (LTS), 4.3, and 5.0 (Experimental), and is optimized for high-performance GPU viewport drawing.
Fna Adjuster | From Normal Alignment To Tactile Micro-Adjustments In One Flow is best for hard-surface modelers snapping bolts, panels, and details to slanted surfaces, environment artists and set-dressers placing props, and precision work needing exact object alignment in Blender.
Fna Adjuster | From Normal Alignment To Tactile Micro-Adjustments In One Flow is completely free to download and use.
FNA Adjuster is listed as fully compatible with Blender 4.1, 4.2 (LTS), 4.3, and 5.0 (Experimental), so it covers both current long-term-support builds and the experimental 5.0 branch. The addon is optimized for high-performance GPU viewport drawing, which comes into play as you drag the Jog-Dial and view the RGB axis guidance lines. If you run one of these versions, the alignment and transform tools are built to work within it. For confirmation on any newer build, check the developer's page.
FNA Adjuster uses a Jog-Dial system for transforming objects: click and hold the dedicated Jog buttons to rotate or move an object smoothly with your mouse. While dragging, scroll the mouse wheel to shift sensitivity on the fly, moving from high-speed placement down to sub-millimeter precision without stopping the action. Infinite RGB axis lines appear during the operation and respect your Local or World settings, so orientation stays clear. This pairs with the Instant Normal Alignment step, which orients the object's axes to a face's normal before you fine-tune.
FNA Adjuster includes a non-destructive revert. During any drag operation, press ESC or right-click to instantly snap the object back to its original state, so you can experiment with placement without committing to a change. This works alongside the Jog-Dial rotate and move controls and the on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment, letting you test a position and back out cleanly if it isn't right. Combined with the visual RGB axis guidance, the workflow keeps each transform reversible until you settle on the alignment you want.
FNA Adjuster is listed as free here in the catalog. Licensing and any promotional terms can change over time, so check the developer's page on Superhive for the current details before downloading. The addon comes from Hugu's Works, with development assisted by AI as a coding tool, while the creative decisions, design philosophy, and user support are handled by the human developer, hinata_hugu. A demo video is also available if you want to see more before installing.
