Why we like it

Furnimatic earns its place in the superhive library because it was built independently by a furniture designer with real studio experience, with features aimed at streamlining furniture modeling in Blender.

What is Furnimatic?

Furnimatic is a Blender add-on for building fully parametric cabinets and furniture. You enter dimensions and choose a few options - materials, handles, profiles, and built-in appliance models - or bring in your own imported assets and materials. UV mapping is applied automatically to all furniture objects.

The add-on lets you save unlimited furniture templates and material combinations. Store favorite cabinet configurations, sizes, and appliance setups, then apply any template with a click. Material combinations covering wood, laminates, textures, and custom materials work the same way, applied instantly and reusable across projects.

Version 1.1 adds automatically generated animations with several styles, corner cabinets in L, U, and G shapes, automatic door millings, a new handle system with custom positions, and furniture legs. It also brings LED lighting at any distance and side, custom door widths, drawer heights, shelf heights, aluminum doors with glass, random material combinations, and real-time material changes without regenerating the furniture.

Who is Furnimatic best for?

Furnimatic is best for 3D artists, furniture makers, and interior designers modeling cabinets and furniture in Blender.

How much does Furnimatic cost?

Frequently asked questions

What's new in Furnimatic 1.1?

Furnimatic 1.1 introduces several additions to the furniture toolkit. It can automatically generate animations with a choice of styles, and create corner cabinets in L, U, and G shapes. The update adds automatic door millings, a new handle system with custom positions, furniture legs, and LED lighting you can place at any distance on any side. It also brings custom vertical door widths, drawer heights, shelf heights, aluminum doors with glass, random material combinations, and real-time material changes that apply without regenerating the furniture.

Can Furnimatic use my own imported assets and materials?

Furnimatic lets you select your own imported assets or materials alongside its built-in options. When configuring a piece, you can pick from its range of handles, profiles, and built-in appliance models, or substitute your own. Materials work the same way: apply wood, laminates, textures, or your own custom materials, and save unlimited material combinations to reuse later. Applied materials update in real time without regenerating the furniture, and UV mapping is handled automatically for all furniture objects.

Is Furnimatic free to use?

Furnimatic is listed as free here in our catalog. Since licensing terms can change over time, check the developer's page for the current details before you download. Once installed, it works as a Blender add-on for building parametric furniture, letting you save unlimited furniture templates and material combinations and reuse them across projects. A demo video is also available if you want to see more before deciding.

Does Furnimatic support corner cabinet layouts?

Furnimatic can automatically generate corner cabinets in L, U, and G shapes, added in version 1.1. Beyond corner layouts, it builds fully parametric cabinets from dimensions you type in, with options for custom vertical door widths, drawer heights, and shelf heights inside the furniture. You can also add automatic door millings, furniture legs with custom positions, and LED lighting at distances you choose on any side, giving control over the overall cabinet configuration.
