Garlandery earns its place in the superhive library for bundling 11 curve-based geometry nodes tools behind one side panel, with connections that hold when objects move and properties that stay editable afterwards.
Garlandery is a Blender addon for connecting several objects, or their selected vertices, with curves drawn as garlands. You can quickly draw garlands between multiple objects, connect or parent them, and move objects around afterwards while the garlands are kept in place.
The addon packs a set of geometry nodes modifiers into a side panel for quick access and combination. Because it works through geometry nodes, applied properties can be adapted and changed afterwards in a non-destructive way. Garlandery also creates curve objects as garlands, so you can use any geometry nodes modifier that works with and modifies a curve, not just the tools included.
It ships with 11 modifiers: Hanging and Wrapping Garland Base, Fir, Ivy, Fairy Lights, Cobweb, Chain, Rope / Cable, Lightning Bolt, Electric Cable, and Particle Flow. Several are adjustable in thickness, density, sizes, and noise, and the Particle Flow tool is animated with Geometry Nodes' simulation.
Garlandery (Addon) V2.3 | Quick Hanging Garlands | Connect Objects And Vertices Together, Control Them From Outside is best for blender artists building hanging or wrapped garlands, fir, ivy, fairy lights, cobwebs, chains, ropes and cables, lightning bolts, and particle flows, and connecting objects or vertices with curves that stay in place.
Garlandery (Addon) V2.3 | Quick Hanging Garlands | Connect Objects And Vertices Together, Control Them From Outside is completely free to download and use.
Garlandery connects several objects or their selected vertices with curve garlands, and those garlands are kept in place when you move objects around. You draw garlands between multiple objects, then connect or parent them, so repositioning an object does not break the arrangement. The connection handling is retained as you work, letting you rearrange a scene without redrawing the links between elements.
Garlandery creates curve objects as garlands, so you can apply any geometry nodes modifier that works with and modifies a curve. It is not limited to the modifier tools that ship with the addon, and the garlands and their handling are kept when you add your own. Because the bundled tools also use geometry nodes, their properties can be adapted and quickly changed afterwards in a non-destructive way, so adjustments stay editable rather than baked in.
Garlandery ships with 11 tools built as geometry nodes modifiers: Hanging Garland Base and Wrapping Garland Base, Fir, Ivy, Fairy Lights, Cobweb, Chain, Rope / Cable, Lightning Bolt, Electric Cable, and Particle Flow. They cover hanging and wrapped garlands, fir and ivy, fairy light bulbs, cobwebs with optional waterdrops, chains, ropes and cables, lightning bolts, electric cables, and particle distribution along a curve or mesh. Each is accessible from the addon's side panel.
Garlandery can create Christmas-style garlands by combining its modifiers. The developer notes that using the Hanging or Wrapping Garland Base with a thickness and then applying the Fir modifier produces fir garlands, while the Ivy modifier on the same base makes lively nature decorations. The Fairy Lights tool turns objects into bulb decorations for Christmas trees, garden lanterns, or neck chains, with adjustable bulb distribution, rotation, and size. These tools stack because each garland is a curve you can keep modifying.
Garlandery is listed here as free. Licensing can change, so check the developer's page for the current terms before you rely on it. The version listed is v2.3, and it includes documentation along with its 11 geometry nodes modifiers packed into a side panel for quick access. Because the tools are based on geometry nodes, what you set can be adjusted and changed afterwards in a non-destructive way, and the garlands you create are kept when objects are moved.
