Grid Sizer is an addon for Blender that gives you direct control over the viewport grid. It adds three buttons—double, halve, and reset to default—each of which can be assigned to a hotkey. Grid changes apply across all viewports at the same time.
Its preferences hold the finer controls. You can display the current grid size on-screen in meters or feet, and toggle whether every 3D viewport synchronizes when the grid changes or resizes independently. Users on the Imperial system see the UI adapt when that's set as the default in Blender, and you can adjust the minimum and maximum values the grid is allowed to reach.
Version 1.2 adds increment control, letting you raise or lower the grid by a constant value alongside multiply-and-divide scaling. The on-screen Display Size can automatically switch between cm/m and inches/feet below a given size. It's aimed at animation, modelling, rigging, and especially map design.
