Earns its place in the superhive library for turning the tedious offsetting of hundreds of keyframes into an automated timing process with multiple patterns and ordering options.
Keyframe Offset Master is a Blender add-on built to offset animation keyframes across many objects or bones at once, replacing the manual work of moving keyframes individually. It applies mathematical timing across a selection to produce cascading effects, and includes a backup system to protect your setup.
The add-on provides six offset modes: Linear, Exponential, Ease In/Out, Random, and Custom patterns. It pairs these with ten ordering options, including alphabetical and reverse, position-based sorting on X, Y and Z coordinates, distance from origin, active or cursor, numeric suffix, and random. It works with objects, armatures, and Follow Path constraints, with full transform control and object mode support.
Additional features include a backup and restore system with history, export and import of settings, reset to initial state, and persistent object lists. Note that armature offsetting only works in Selected Targets mode. The add-on has been tested exclusively on Windows, so functionality on other operating systems is not guaranteed. It is suited to motion graphics, architectural visualization and character animation.
Keyframe Offset Master is best for blender artists working on motion graphics, architectural visualization and character animation who need to stagger timing across many objects or bones.
Keyframe Offset Master is completely free to download and use.
Keyframe Offset Master is compatible with Blender versions 3.3 through 4.5, and the developer lists Blender 3.3+ as the minimum requirement. It is marked as Blender Extension compatible and distributed as an add-on. The render engine used is Cycles. If you are on a recent Blender release within that range, the add-on should be usable; check the developer's page for the latest compatibility details before installing.
Keyframe Offset Master has been tested exclusively on Windows, and the developer states that proper functionality on other operating systems cannot be guaranteed. If you work on macOS or Linux, you may still be able to run it, but there is no assurance it will behave correctly. It is worth reviewing the developer's page and testing carefully before relying on it in production on a non-Windows system.
Keyframe Offset Master works with objects, armatures, and Follow Path constraints. For armatures specifically, there is a current limitation: armature offsetting only works in Selected Targets mode. This means you need to work within that mode when staggering timing across bones. The add-on also provides full transform control and object mode support, so both object-level and armature-level cascading effects are covered within these constraints.
Keyframe Offset Master is listed as free in this catalog. It is released under the GPL license. For current licensing terms and any pricing the developer may set, visit the developer's page directly. There you can also find the documentation and confirm the details before downloading, since terms on the original store can differ from how the item appears in this catalog.
