Lego Generator is a Blender addon that turns any UV-textured model into a grid of Lego bricks. Select a model, press the LEGO button, and the whole thing rebuilds as a clean brick mosaic with the texture's colors baked into every piece. It runs entirely on Geometry Nodes and works whether your model uses a single texture or many materials, sampling each material's color per brick automatically.
Bricks snap into a clean grid with no gaps or overlaps on any axis. A hollow shell option leaves the inside empty with adjustable shell thickness, building far fewer bricks and keeping scenes lighter. You aren't limited to the built-in brick either: use any object from your scene, or append one from an external .blend file. A viewport percentage control previews a fraction of the bricks for smooth editing, while renders always show them all.
Everything stays non-destructive, so one click builds and one click removes, leaving the original model untouched. It requires Blender 4.2 or newer, a UV-unwrapped model, and texture-based materials for the color transfer. Released free to the Blender community by 3DRedbox Studio.
