Light Scenario earns its place in the superhive library by pulling scenario management, animation helpers, HDRI control, and batch organization into a single Blender lighting workflow.
Light Scenario handles lighting management inside Blender. Save complete lighting states and switch between them with one click, and create unlimited scenarios that capture all light properties, on/off states, colors, and power levels. In scenario mode, only the lights belonging to the current scenario appear in the light hierarchy. You can rename, duplicate, update, or delete scenarios and bake them into collections.
For dynamic lighting, Scenario Global Power controls the overall intensity of a scenario from a single slider while keeping the relative balance between lights. Blending A→B interpolates between two scenarios with live preview and is fully keyframeable for day-to-night animations, and the Scenario Mixer combines multiple scenarios at once with individual sliders.
Beyond scenarios, an HDRI Manager offers a visual grid preview with real-time temperature and tint control. Fast Light Editing uses interactive modal editing with instant viewport feedback, Light Linking (Blender 4.3+) links or unlinks lights to objects or collections, and batch rename plus auto collection organization keep the outliner structured. A floating minimap helps navigate complex setups.
Light Scenario is best for blender artists managing many lights across multiple lighting moods and switching between saved lighting setups.
Light Scenario is completely free to download and use.
Light Scenario supports both Cycles and Eevee, and runs on Blender 4.0 and later across all platforms. It requires no setup, uses minimal memory, and offers real-time updates with instant switching between saved scenarios. Because it captures light properties, on/off states, colors, and power levels, your saved configurations behave consistently as you switch between them in either render engine. A demo video is also available.
Light Scenario includes a Light Linking feature for Blender 4.3 and above, which requires that version or newer. Its quick linking interface lets you link or unlink lights to specific objects or entire collections with one click. The add-on as a whole runs on Blender 4.0 and later, so on earlier versions you can still use the scenario, animation, HDRI, and batch tools while the light linking tools target the 4.3+ workflow.
Light Scenario is listed as free here. For current licensing terms and the most up-to-date details, check the developer's page. The add-on covers scenario creation and switching, animation helpers, an HDRI manager, fast light editing, light linking, and batch organization tools, so you can try the full lighting workflow across Blender 4.0 and later before committing. The demo video offers another look before you install.
Light Scenario provides several animation helpers for lighting variations and transitions. Blending A→B interpolates smoothly between any two scenarios with live preview and is fully keyframeable, which supports day-to-night animations. Scenario Global Power adjusts the overall intensity of a whole scenario from a single slider while maintaining the relative balance between lights. The Scenario Mixer combines multiple scenarios at once, each with an independently adjustable contribution slider.
