Mask Tools is a Blender add-on for texturing and creating complex materials, letting you build materials without exporting to other software. Add paint layers and procedural effects such as edge detect, dust, and various types of grunge to produce realistic textures. It can turn low-poly objects into highly detailed models in a few steps, and helps keep node setups organized.
Distortion Masks let you paint procedural grunge on your models and keep customizing the shape, scale, and bump effects after painting. You can also paint additional effects including alpha transparency, emission, and bump. A set of materials ships with the add-on, and each can be customized for scale, roughness, and color.
Whether you're texturing characters or environments, Mask Tools is aimed at game artists working on detailed textures for low-poly game assets. Documentation is provided, and a demo video is available. The add-on supports Blender 3.0 through 3.6 and 4.0, and is released under the GPL license.
