Modifiers Link stands out in the Superhive library for keeping linked modifiers in sync live across objects. Worth noting that it does not support synchronization with geometry nodes, so plan accordingly if your setup relies on them.
Modifiers Link adds a panel to Blender's Modifiers tab that lets you link and live-sync modifiers between objects. Once objects are linked, changing a setting like Solidify Thickness on one object updates all linked objects instantly, without copy-pasting between them.
Link All and Unlink All handle every modifier in a single click, while Link and Unlink Single give control over individual modifiers. Additive Linking lets you select new objects and add them to an existing group, and Auto-Cleanup automatically removes dead links when an object or modifier is deleted. The workflow is to select all objects with the source object last, open the Modifiers tab, and press Link All in the Link Modifiers panel. Note that it does not support synchronization with geometry nodes.
Modifiers Link works with Blender 4.5 through 5.0 and is distributed under the GPL license. Recent updates fixed synchronization errors for array modifiers and added saving of links after reopening a project, provided the file is saved before closing. A demo video is available.
Modifiers Link is best for blender users who want to link and live-sync modifiers across multiple objects rather than copy-pasting them individually.
Modifiers Link is completely free to download and use.
Modifiers Link is listed for Blender 4.5 through 5.0. It adds its panel to the Modifiers tab, where you select your objects with the source object last, open the tab, and press Link All in the Link Modifiers panel. Once linked, changing a parameter on one object updates every linked object. If your setup falls within that version range, the add-on fits the stated compatibility. For current details, check the developer's page.
Modifiers Link does not support synchronization with geometry nodes. It links and live-syncs standard modifiers between objects, so a change to a setting like Solidify Thickness on one object propagates to all linked objects, but geometry node setups fall outside that scope. It also includes Auto-Cleanup, which removes dead links automatically when a linked object or modifier is deleted. Keep this limitation in mind when planning a project that leans heavily on geometry nodes.
Modifiers Link is listed as free in this catalog and is distributed under the GPL license. For current licensing and any changes, check the developer's page. The add-on links modifiers between objects and keeps them in sync, with options to link or unlink all modifiers at once or handle individual ones, plus Additive Linking to fold new objects into an existing group.
Modifiers Link saves links after reopening a project, a behaviour added in a recent update. To make it work, you must save the file before closing it. A separate update fixed synchronization errors for array modifiers. Once your links persist, the live-sync behaviour continues, so changing a parameter on one object updates all linked objects. Check the developer's page for the latest version notes.
