A focused single-purpose addon covering a wide range of Blender versions, from 2.78 through 2.93.
Multiple Single Users is a Blender addon by Yves that addresses a common situation when working with linked duplicates. Linked duplicates copy an object while keeping the data linked, so edits made to one duplicate also affect the others. When you reach a point where you want to un-link some or all of those duplicates, doing it one object at a time is manageable for a couple of items.
That approach becomes impractical when a scene holds a few hundred or a few thousand linked objects, since each one has to be selected and made a single-user individually. This addon lets you select all the objects you want to unlink and un-links them together in one click, rather than repeating the process object by object.
The addon ships with documentation, and a demo video is available. It supports a wide span of Blender releases, from 2.78 through 2.93, and is distributed under a Creative Commons license.
Multiple Single Users is best for blender users who work with large numbers of linked duplicates and need to make many objects single-users at once.
Multiple Single Users is completely free to download and use.
Multiple Single Users lists support for a broad range of Blender releases: 2.78, 2.79, 2.8, 2.81, 2.82, 2.83, 2.9, 2.91, 2.92 and 2.93. That span covers both the older 2.7x series and the 2.8x through 2.9x generations. If you are running one of these versions, the addon is intended to work with your setup. For any version outside this list, or newer releases, check the developer's page for the latest compatibility information before relying on it in a project.
Multiple Single Users targets the workflow around linked duplicates, which copy an object while keeping its data linked so edits to one duplicate carry over to the others. When you want to un-link that shared data, the addon lets you select every object you want to separate and un-links them all in one click. This replaces the manual approach of selecting each object individually and making it a single-user one at a time, which becomes impractical across hundreds or thousands of objects.
Multiple Single Users is listed as free here and is distributed under a Creative Commons license. Licensing terms can change over time, so for the current details, exact license conditions and any usage requirements, refer to the developer's page. The addon also ships with documentation, which is the place to look for guidance on how to set it up and use it within your Blender workflow.
