Node Deck stands out in the superhive library for keeping node browsing, search, favorites, and placement inside one palette in the Node Editor.
Node Deck is a fast visual node picker built for Blender's Geometry Nodes editor. It adds an interactive palette directly inside the Node Editor, combining visual browsing, searchable catalogs, favorites, recents, and drag-and-drop placement into a single workflow. The goal is to keep commonly used nodes within immediate reach while building Geometry Nodes systems.
The palette runs in two modes. Fixed palette mode keeps nodes always visible, positioned at the top or bottom of the editor, while popup mode opens on a configurable hotkey and stays out of the way until needed. Nodes drop straight onto the graph, with an option to keep the deck open after each placement. Favorites and Recents tabs track frequently and recently used nodes, and the catalog covers Geometry, Input, Texture, Color, Vector, Converter, and Math categories.
Search filters as you type and works inside the Favorites and Recents grids. Navigation supports horizontal and vertical deck scrubbing with adjustable speed, sensitivity, and scrub zone, plus mouse-wheel scrolling and a wide scrollbar. Styling options include custom tab header colors, optional socket dots on cards, and always-show or hover-only tab names.
Node Deck is best for blender artists and technical users who build Geometry Nodes systems and want quicker access to nodes than the standard Add menu.
Node Deck is completely free to download and use.
Node Deck is designed for Blender 5.1 and later, and it is built specifically for Geometry Nodes workflows. The palette integrates directly into the Node Editor, so browsing, searching, and placing nodes happens in the same space where you build your node graph. Because it targets the Geometry Nodes editor, its catalog covers Geometry Nodes-compatible categories. If you are on an earlier Blender release, check the developer's page for details on supported versions before installing.
Node Deck offers two ways to display its palette. Fixed palette mode keeps the deck always visible inside the Node Editor, and you can position it at the top or bottom of the editor for constant access to nodes. Popup mode instead opens the palette on a configurable hotkey, so it stays out of the way until you call it up. The add-on supports drag-and-drop node placement, and an option lets the deck stay open after a drop so you can place several nodes in a row.
Node Deck filters nodes as you type, and search also works inside the Favorites and Recents grids so you can narrow those tabs directly. For moving through the catalog, it supports horizontal and vertical deck scrubbing with adjustable scrub speed, sensitivity, and scrub zone. You can also scroll the grid with the mouse wheel, and a wide scrollbar helps with quick navigation. The catalog is organized into Geometry, Input, Texture, Color, Vector, Converter, and Math categories.
Node Deck is listed as free in this catalog and is distributed under the GPL license. Licensing terms and availability can change over time, so check the developer's page for the current details before you download or rely on it in a project. The add-on comes from AlbertoFX and is available through superhive, where you can also find contact details if you have questions about the product or its terms.
