Maze any Mesh
by elfnorcat
Maze any Mesh is a Blender add-on that runs a recursive backtracker maze algorithm over the selected part of any mesh to produce a maze. It can also generate 3D mazes from vertex-and-edge networks.

Earns its place in the superhive library for producing noisy, UV-unwrapped cuts from a hand-drawn spline rather than the flat slices most cutting tools leave.
Noisy-Cutter is a Blender addon developed by Picto Filmo for their own production needs. It cuts and slices geometry from a hand-drawn spline, and rather than leaving a flat edge like many cutting tools, the result is bumpy and noisy with an unwrapped UV. That makes it suited to natural cuts on materials such as wood, stone and concrete.
The workflow runs in three steps: draw the cut, then adjust settings for mesh density and the type of displacement cut. You can drive the cut with noise or with a texture, and the addon ships with a set of textures to choose from. It also applies an automatic cut material and can cut several meshes at once. Picto Filmo points to uses like environment design, where you can draw cliffs in a single cut from the default cube, and destruction simulation, with accurate cuts along the shape you want to destroy.
Because it relies on a boolean operation, the object being cut must be manifold, meaning a closed volume. Noisy-Cutter is released under the GPL license.
Noisy-Cutter is best for drawing natural cuts on wood, stone or concrete, plus environment design and destruction simulation work.
Noisy-Cutter is completely free to download and use.
Noisy-Cutter ships in builds matched to specific Blender releases: version 1.9 for Blender 5.x, 1.8 for Blender 4.2, 1.7 for Blender 4.1, and 1.6 for Blender 4. Earlier versions cover Blender 2.91 through 3 and up. Pick the build that matches the Blender version you are running, and check the developer's page for the most current release notes before installing.
Noisy-Cutter requires the object being cut to be manifold, meaning a closed volume, because the addon works through a boolean operation. Within that limitation, it is aimed at natural-looking cuts on materials such as wood, stone and concrete, and it can cut several meshes at once. The cut itself comes out bumpy and noisy rather than flat, with an unwrapped UV, and you can drive it with noise or one of the textures delivered with the addon.
Noisy-Cutter uses a three-step process: draw the cut as a hand-drawn spline, adjust the settings for mesh density, and set the type of displacement cut. The cut can be driven by noise or by a texture, with a set of textures delivered alongside the addon, and it applies an automatic cut material to the result. You can also cut several meshes at once.
Noisy-Cutter is listed as free in this catalog and is released under the GPL license. Licensing and availability can change over time, so check Picto Filmo's page for the current terms before you download. The developer, Picto Filmo, also provides documentation, including a wood break tutorial, if you want to see how the addon is used to cut and slice geometry from a hand-drawn spline.
