One of the QOL Tools add-ons for Blender, also available within the QOL Tools: Full Collection package.
QOL Selection Bookmarks is a panel add-on for Blender that stores selections so you can recall them later. It lives in the N-Panel: click the "Add" button and it creates a bookmark from your current selection. You can have as many bookmarks as you like and name each one as you please.
The add-on automatically detects what you have selected and creates an appropriate type of bookmark. It handles objects such as meshes, lights, curves and metaballs, which can be mixed and matched, as well as vertices, edges and faces on meshes. Built-in management lets you extend a bookmark with additional items at any time, remove items, or delete the bookmark completely. Because the type of bookmark only allows adding or removing within the current type, mistakes are avoided.
To recall a selection, click the relevant button. When recalling components such as edges or faces, the add-on remembers the mode you were in and reactivates that status, and it will remember the selection across multiple objects. It is part of the QOL Tools family and is also available in the QOL Tools: Full Collection package.
Qol Selection Bookmarks is best for blender artists who want to save and recall named selections of objects or mesh components.
Qol Selection Bookmarks is completely free to download and use.
QOL Selection Bookmarks lists compatibility with Blender 4.2, 4.1 and 4.0. It is an add-on distributed under the GPL license and is marked as Blender Extension compatible. For the most current version support and any newer releases, check the developer's page before installing, as compatibility details can change with new Blender releases and add-on updates over time.
QOL Selection Bookmarks saves object selections such as meshes, lights, curves and metaballs, which you can mix and match freely, as well as vertices, edges and faces on meshes. It automatically detects what you have selected and creates the appropriate type of bookmark. When recalling component selections like edges or faces, it remembers the mode you were in and reactivates that status, and it also remembers selections across multiple objects.

Click the "Add" button and it creates a bookmark from whatever you currently have selected, and you can name each bookmark as you please and keep as many as you like. To recall a selection, click the relevant button on the left of the panel. Management controls on the right let you extend a bookmark with more items, remove items, or delete the bookmark entirely.
