Quick Cut is an add-on from Blender.Fun for creating cuts along edges in a mesh. The workflow runs inside Edit mode: you select the edges you want to cut, press Shift-Q, then choose Add Mesh Cut. From there you can adjust the settings as you want, and the cut is created along the edges you selected. The whole process, from selecting edges to adjusting the settings, stays within a short sequence of steps.
Quick Cut works across a wide span of Blender releases, from 2.93 through 4.3, including the 3.0 to 3.6 series in between. The add-on is released under the GPL license and includes documentation. A demo video is available, and it has been published for over three years. Listed here as free, Quick Cut comes from developer Blender.Fun.
