A free, first-version add-on that automates a common camera setup. It has a small number of ratings on Superhive and the developer is transparent about current limitations.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons sets up a turnaround camera in Blender with a single click, aimed at the moment when a model is finished and needs a presentation render. Instead of building the camera turnaround manually each time, the add-on generates it for you.
Once installed, it appears in the viewport sidebar (opened with the N shortcut). You can adjust the rotate speed and the number of frames that define the animation duration, and switch smoothly between objects and angles. To change the target object or apply new parameter values, toggle out of the camera view and press the Create Turnaround Camera button again, since parameter changes do not update the animation automatically.
This is the first version, and the developer notes it may still contain errors and plans to continue updating it in future releases. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available. The add-on is a Dev Fund Contributor and is listed under a Royalty Free license.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons is best for blender users who want a quick turnaround camera for presentation renders of finished models.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons is completely free to download and use.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons lists support for Blender 4.3, 4.2, 4.1, 4.0 and 3.6. If you are on one of these versions, the add-on should install and appear in the viewport sidebar, which you open with the N shortcut. For versions outside this range, check the developer's page before installing, as compatibility is not confirmed there. Because this is the first version, the developer also notes it may still contain errors across releases.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons installs from its downloaded Zip file. In Blender, open Edit, then Preferences, then Add-ons, click Install and select the Zip file you downloaded. Activate the add-on, and it will appear in the viewport sidebar, which you open by pressing the N shortcut. From there you can create the turnaround camera and adjust its settings. Documentation is included if you need further guidance during setup.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons does not automatically update the animation when you change a parameter value. To apply new values, toggle out of the camera view and press the Create Turnaround Camera button again. The same step applies when you want to change the target object. The developer attributes these behaviours to the current state of the code and plans to address them in future versions, as this is the first release.
Quick Turnaround Camera Addons is listed as free here, under a Royalty Free license, and it is marked as a Dev Fund Contributor. Licensing terms can change, so check the developer's page for the current details before use. The developer also links a YouTube channel and provides a demo video if you want to see more before downloading. Documentation is included with the add-on as well.
