Stands out in the superhive library because it folds render management, upscaling, frame interpolation and denoising support into a single standalone program for Blender.
RenderIQ is a standalone render manager for Blender, available on Windows and Mac. Select the files you want to render and it reads their settings directly, showing the important ones. You can queue jobs, adjust them, and let them render automatically, then pause when needed and continue later without losing progress. It renders different files with different Blender versions, applies custom user preferences so that only specific add-ons are enabled for rendering, and handles multiple view layers.
Its intelligent scene analysis can automatically choose smarter render settings, adjusting elements such as light bounces, volume steps and transparent settings to reduce render time; this function is currently available only for Cycles. The program upscales rendered frames using advanced algorithms by up to 4×, and its interpolation calculates intermediate frames to double or quadruple the frame rate without extra rendering, which can also be used to create smooth slow-motion footage.
With support for SceneBoost and Turbo Tools, RenderIQ can reduce VRAM usage and perform temporal denoising. Upscaling, interpolation and temporal denoising can run together and are processed automatically in sequence. A preview window plays back rendered image sequences in real time at the correct frame rate, even while rendering is ongoing.
Renderiq - Render Smarter And Faster is best for blender artists on Windows or Mac who want to manage render jobs and cut render time through upscaling, frame interpolation and automated scene settings.
Renderiq - Render Smarter And Faster is completely free to download and use.
RenderIQ is a standalone render manager available for both Windows and Mac. You select the files you want to render, and it reads their settings directly, showing you the important ones. From there you can queue jobs, adjust them, and let them render automatically, then pause when needed and continue later without losing your progress. It can also play back rendered image sequences in the preview window at the correct frame rate, and you can monitor progress while rendering is still ongoing.
RenderIQ includes intelligent scene analysis that can automatically choose smarter render settings for a scene, adjusting elements such as light bounces, volume steps and transparent settings to significantly reduce render time depending on the scene. That means less manual tweaking of those parameters before you render. This particular scene analysis function is currently available only for Cycles, so if you plan to rely on it, build those projects around Cycles rather than another engine.
RenderIQ lets you render different files with different Blender versions. You can also use custom user preferences so that only specific add-ons are enabled for rendering, and you can render multiple view layers. It reads the relevant settings directly from each file you select. These options sit alongside its core workflow, where you queue files, adjust settings, and let them render automatically, pausing and continuing later without losing progress.
RenderIQ can upscale rendered frames using advanced algorithms by up to 4×, letting you render at lower resolutions and reach the target resolution in less time. Its interpolation calculates intermediate frames to double or even quadruple your frame rate without rendering the extra frames yourself; you set the factor and the program generates the rest. You can, for example, render only every second frame, and the same interpolation can be used to create smooth slow-motion footage.
RenderIQ is listed here as free, so you can add it to your Blender setup without a purchase. Licensing terms can change over time, so check the developer's page from VICUBE Animation for the current details before you rely on it. A demo video is also available if you want to see more before installing, and the listing includes documentation to help you get started with its render management, upscaling and interpolation features.
