Resolution Pro earns its place by keeping format presets inside Blender's native Output panel rather than a separate tab, so dimension changes happen where resolution settings already live.
Resolution Pro is a Blender add-on for managing render output formats. It integrates directly into Blender's native Output Properties → Format panel, adding its section beneath the existing Resolution settings rather than in a separate tab. From there you can apply one-click presets for standard formats such as HD, 4K and 8K, along with social media dimensions for platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Shorts.
A dropdown switches between Landscape and Portrait orientation, and when you swap orientation the add-on automatically exchanges the X and Y resolutions. Clicking a preset updates both dimensions instantly and snaps the resolution percentage to 100%. You can set a preferred default orientation in the Addon Preferences so it opens the way you want.
The add-on is engine agnostic, working with Cycles, Eevee and third-party renderers. It supports Blender 3.0 and newer and is tested with Blender 4.x. A demo video is available on the developer's page.
Resolution Pro is best for blender users who want to set render output dimensions and orientation from presets instead of typing them manually.
Resolution Pro is completely free to download and use.
Resolution Pro supports Blender 3.0 and newer, and the developer notes it is fully tested and compatible with Blender 4.x, with listed compatibility running up to Blender 5.1. It is registered as a Blender Extension add-on, so it installs through Blender's standard add-on system. If you are on a version outside that range, check the developer's page before installing to confirm the current supported range for your setup.
Resolution Pro is engine agnostic and works with Cycles, Eevee and third-party renderers, since it changes the render resolution and orientation rather than any engine-specific settings. Whichever renderer your scene uses, the presets set the same X and Y dimensions and snap the resolution percentage to 100%. It lives under Blender's Output Properties → Format panel, so the same one-click presets are available no matter which render engine you have active.
Resolution Pro adds its section to Blender's Output Properties tab, under the Format panel, right beneath the native Resolution settings, so there are no extra tabs to open. To use it, choose an orientation (Landscape or Portrait), then click the preset you want. The X and Y resolutions update instantly and the resolution percentage snaps to 100%. You can also set your preferred default orientation in the Addon Preferences.
Resolution Pro is listed as free in this catalog, and it is distributed under the GPL license. For current licensing terms or any tiers the creator may offer, check the developer's page directly. It is a Blender Extension-compatible add-on, so it installs through Blender's standard add-on workflow, and its listed compatibility runs from Blender 3.0 up to 5.1. The catalog shows it was published about two months ago.
