Earns its place in the Blender extensions library for packing mesh editing, precision and material tools into a single add-on. Reviewers note it's useful for artists coming from Modo. Just remember UV tools now live in the separate rmKitUV add-on.
rmKit is a Blender add-on aimed at 3D modeling and game workflows, collecting a range of tools and utilities into the interface. It covers advanced mesh editing, precision modeling and material management, and suits both hard-surface and organic modeling tasks.
The mesh editing side includes operators for connecting edges, creating tubes, extruding along edges and thickening meshes. Workflow tools add quick material assignment, radial alignment and workplane setup, while precision features bring a dimensions visualizer, a linear falloff tool, a move-to-furthest tool and a knife screen. A selection-based vertex normals tool lets you manage vertex normals from selection sets for finer control over shading. Everything sits in UI panels organized for navigation.
Version 1.0.13 added support for Blender 5.0 and fixed a bug where hidden geometry could interfere with continuous select and other raycast tools. UV tools have moved to a separate add-on, rmKitUV. You enable rmKit from Blender's Add-ons menu, and the developer's page holds the full documentation.
rmKit is best for 3D modeling and game workflows in Blender, spanning hard-surface and organic modeling tasks that call for mesh editing, precision tools and material management.
rmKit is completely free to download and use.
rmKit is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. Version 1.0.13 added support for Blender 5.0 and fixed a bug where hidden geometry could interfere with continuous select and other raycast tools. If you run a current Blender release, the add-on installs through the Extensions system, and the developer's page carries the most up-to-date compatibility notes worth checking before you install.
rmKit is listed here as free, and it is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. That license governs how you can use, modify and redistribute the add-on, and it requires no special permissions to run. For current licensing terms or any later changes, check the developer's page directly, since a fixed figure is not something to rely on and distribution details can shift over time.
rmKit no longer includes UV tools; those have been moved to a separate add-on called rmKitUV. The main rmKit package focuses on mesh editing, precision modeling and material management, with operators for connecting edges, creating tubes, extruding along edges and thickening meshes. If you need UV functionality, you'll want rmKitUV alongside it, and the developer's page has details on both add-ons.
rmKit installs like other Blender add-ons: you enable it from Blender's Add-ons menu, then reach its tools through the UI panels, which are organized for navigation. The download is small, at around 81 KB, and it requires no special permissions to run. Once enabled, you can explore the full set of mesh editing, precision and material tools. For step-by-step guidance and documentation, the developer's page is the place to look.

Zip Merge is a Blender addon that merges geometry together like a zip, joining vertices between mesh islands while preserving UVs. It targets cases where merge by distance or bridging faces cause problems.
