Zip Merge
by hodgson3d
Zip Merge is a Blender addon that merges geometry together like a zip, joining vertices between mesh islands while preserving UVs. It targets cases where merge by distance or bridging faces cause problems.

Sculpt To Curve earns its place in the superhive library by turning repetitive, fiddly pieces into curve-driven meshes. It supports Blender 2.93 through 5.1, ships under the GPL license, and as of version 4.0 adds chains as a new category plus a save-and-reuse preset system.
Sculpt To Curve targets one of the more time-consuming parts of modeling: building horns, tentacles, teeth, scales and chains by hand. The add-on lets you place ready-made, retopologized meshes onto an editable curve and shape them by moving control points. The library includes 30 horns, 5 tentacles, 15 scales and 10 chains, each with retopology and UV unwrap included.
An options panel controls how the mesh repeats, scales and follows the spline, and a reset function strips all modifiers so you can start fresh. A dynamic menu lets you browse and pick meshes inside Blender, you can copy settings from one object to another, and you can edit the spline without leaving the workflow. Under the hood it drives array, curve and mirror modifiers.
Version 4.0 adds smarter importing, so elements drop into the scene already configured and positioned. Panels were reorganized into dedicated sections for transform controls and presets, a confirmation popup guards the reset button, and named presets can be saved and reapplied per element type. An autofix button calculates how many repeated pieces fill the spline, adds a few extra, and tapers the shape to a point at the tip.
Sculpt To Curve is best for sculptors and modelers who need to build horns, tentacles, teeth, scales and chains without modeling each one by hand.
Sculpt To Curve is completely free to download and use.
Sculpt To Curve is listed as compatible with Blender versions 2.93 through 5.1 and is marked as Blender Extension compatible. It's distributed as an add-on and released under the GPL license. That range spans a wide set of releases, so it should install on both older projects and current builds. For the exact install steps and any version-specific notes, check the developer's page, since compatibility details can shift as Blender continues to update its releases.
Sculpt To Curve ships with a library of 30 horns, 5 tentacles, 15 scales and 10 chains. Every model includes retopology and UV unwrap. Chains were added as a new category in version 4.0. You browse and pick from the available meshes through a dynamic menu inside Blender, and with version 4.0 each element drops into the scene already configured and positioned correctly. That covers the full set of ready-made pieces the add-on provides for building horns, tentacles, scales and chains.
Sculpt To Curve added an autofix button in version 4.0 that handles filling a spline in one click. It figures out how many repeated pieces are needed to fill the spline from start to finish, adds a few extra for good measure, and automatically tapers the shape down to a point at the tip. Alongside it, an options panel lets you manually adjust how the mesh repeats, scales and follows the curve if you want finer control over the final result.
Sculpt To Curve is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing and pricing can change over time, so check the developer's page for the current terms before you download. The add-on is released under the GPL license and is marked as Blender Extension compatible, which relates to how it can be used and distributed. For the latest details on availability and any conditions, the developer's page is the most reliable source to consult.
