Sakura Tools earns its place in the superhive library as a batch-operation toolkit aimed at character modeling in Blender, pairing modifier, weight, normal, and shape key operations with a built-in help system and a full English and Japanese UI.
Sakura Tools is a collection of batch operators for Blender from Kafuji. Most of its functions run on multiple objects at once, and can process an entire model, meaning an armature and its relative objects, together. You can apply a full modifier stack or selected modifiers in one step, no matter how many modifiers sit on an object or across the whole model.
All operations on mesh objects stay compatible with Shape Keys, so they aren't lost or corrupted. The add-on includes an enhanced Weight Transfer with advanced Weight Blending for deform or non-deform on selected vertices, Normal Transfer between objects on selected faces, and Shape Key Transfer from one object to others for fitting decals or tight clothes onto a base mesh.
Beyond transfers, Sakura Tools covers renaming, modifier management, pose baking, armature editing and rigging. Management features include a Model Checker, Image List and Material List, and a Zombie Data cleaner. A built-in help system describes what each operator does, and the interface and help texts are available in both English and Japanese.
Sakura Tools is best for blender character artists working with multi-object models and armatures who want batch modifier, weight, normal, and shape key operations.
Sakura Tools is completely free to download and use.
Sakura Tools received fixes in version 1.5.2 targeting Blender 5.0 and later, specifically correcting the internal code that restores bone selection. Earlier updates also adjusted parts of the code to accommodate changes in Blender 5.0, including the Temporal Shrinkwrap tool. Version 1.5.2 resolves an issue where calling the Pose Bake tool with a bone selected would raise an error. For the full picture of supported versions and any environment requirements, check the developer's page and the included documentation before installing.
Sakura Tools supports both English and Japanese across all UI elements, including its help texts. The add-on also ships with documentation in both languages, listed as English Document and 日本語ドキュメント. This bilingual coverage extends to the built-in help system, which describes what each operator will do before you run it. If you work in either language, the interface and guidance are available without switching tools. For the complete documentation, the developer points to the Sakura Creative Suite site.
Sakura Tools makes all operations on mesh objects compatible with Shape Keys, so batch work does not lose or corrupt them. This applies across the add-on's functions, letting you apply modifier stacks or run transfers without worrying about your Shape Key data. It also offers Shape Key Transfer, moving Shape Keys from one object to others, which the developer notes helps when fitting decals or tight clothes onto a base mesh. A Shape Key Checker is available in its own dedicated section as well.
Sakura Tools is listed as free in this catalog. Licensing terms can change over time, so for the current details it's best to check the developer's page directly. The add-on centers on batch operators for Blender, covering modifier application, weight, normal, and shape key transfers, pose baking, and model management across multiple objects or a whole model at once. Reviewing the developer's page also gives you access to the changelog and documentation before you install.
