Sox Biped Assist is a script for 3ds Max aimed at improving biped work efficiency. It provides biped selection with hotkey combinations, using Ctrl to add to a selection, Alt to subtract, and Shift to straighten the joint. Keyframe Assist can add keys to all parts of the biped and apply IK/FK keys for selected or all keys, where Shift targets all keys and Ctrl targets selected keys.
For looped animation, the tool includes Trim to delete keys outside the Loop Range, Sel. to select keys within the Loop Range on the currently selected object, and Mirror to jump to the corresponding mirror frame within the Loop Range. Get and Set buttons read and set the current Max animation range. Eight timeline shortcut buttons let you register frequently used frames, recording the current time with Ctrl + click, jumping to it with a click, and deleting it with Alt + click.
A Playback Speed drop-down controls animation playback speed. Because biped uses a TCB controller and cannot be viewed in step method, the blocking animation play button plays the animation in step style based on the keyframes of the selected bipeds.
