Sprite Sheet Maker is a Blender addon for turning 3D animations into 2D sprite sheets. It captures frames through an inbuilt auto camera and can combine the results into a single sheet, into strips, or export them as individual images. A single sprite can also be created on its own. The addon supports both perspective and orthographic cameras, and a custom camera can be supplied to capture the images.
Pixelation is handled by a built-in tool that can be toggled on or off, and each row can carry a label, with options to include frame count and row size in that label. Sprite dimension consistency is configurable through three modes, so sprites can keep their own dimensions, match their row, or match the whole sheet. Camera padding, a vertical centering object, and a Pixels Per Meter setting give further control over framing.
Import and export of settings is supported, and the addon can recontinue in case of failure. It is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and requires no special permissions.
