Better Cutter is a mesh cutting add-on for Blender that extends the built-in tools with three cut modes. Planar Cut uses the position and orientation of the cutter plane for a straight cut with live update, Follow Shape Cut uses the actual outline of the cutter plane or curve, and Curve Cutter drives the cut from a Bezier, NURBS, or Poly curve you reshape into any form.
Two split modes control the geometry. Cut Only adds clean edge loops without separating the mesh and works even on meshes with ngons, while Split separates the mesh along the cuts into distinct pieces that break into their own objects when finalized. Follow Shape operations add Cut Through, Cookie Cut, and Keep Inside, and it can cut multiple objects at the same time.
The workflow runs on Start Cut, Cancel to fully restore the original mesh, and Finalize to commit the cut. Live Mode updates the cut as you move or rotate the cutter, while Manual Mode updates only on click. Version 1.1 adds Face Cutter, which converts any face into a cutter.
