Uvexport stands out in the superhive library for its range of export formats and preset handling, covering both raster images up to 8K and layered vector files with CAD-standard stroke widths.
Uvexport is a Blender add-on from MarkoPetrush for exporting UV layouts. It's aimed at game developers, texture artists, and technical designers who need to move UV maps out of Blender into raster or vector files.
The add-on supports PNG, SVG, DXF, JPEG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, and WEBP. Raster exports can be color or grayscale, up to 8K resolution with a transparent background, while vector output produces layered files where you set the boundary to fit the UVs or the 0-1 space and choose stroke widths that snap to standard CAD lineweights. You can customize colors for faces, edges, and background, and export only edges or only faces for technical layouts.
Workflow presets let you save, load, update, and delete unlimited configurations. You can export from selected objects or batch export every object in a collection, target a specific UV map by name or export all of them, and rely on automatic ObjectName_UVMapName.format file naming.
Uvexport is best for game developers, texture artists, and technical designers exporting Blender UV layouts to raster or vector formats.
Uvexport is completely free to download and use.
Uvexport is listed as compatible with Blender 3.4 through 5.0, covering a wide span of releases across that range. If you're running a version inside those bounds, the add-on should install and run as expected. It ships as a .zip file with a detailed documentation and installation guide included. For any version outside that range, or for confirmation on a specific build, check the developer's page before installing, since compatibility can shift with newer Blender releases over time.
Uvexport supports both raster and vector output. On the raster side it handles PNG, JPEG, BMP, TGA, TIFF, and WEBP, with color or grayscale export up to 8K resolution and a transparent background. For vector work it exports SVG and DXF as layered files, letting you set the boundary to fit the UVs or the 0-1 space and choose stroke widths that snap to standard CAD lineweights. You can also control colors for faces, edges, and background, and export only edges or only faces for precise technical layouts.
Uvexport can export from only your selected objects, which is the default mode, or you can switch the source to a collection and batch export UVs from every mesh object inside it. For each object you can target a specific UV map by name or enable Export All to save every UV map automatically. Files are named as ObjectName_UVMapName.format, so output from a batch stays organized. Workflow presets let you save and reload these settings, so different project requirements can be recalled without reconfiguring each time.
Uvexport is listed as free here in the catalog and is distributed under the GPL license. The download includes the add-on as a .zip file, detailed documentation and an installation guide, plus dedicated customer support from the developer. Since pricing and licensing terms can change over time, check the developer's page for the current details before you download. A demo video is also available if you'd like to see more before committing.
