Analyze Mesh is a Blender extension for 3D modelers who want to check a model's topology for quads, tris, ngons, and edge poles. Originally part of Quad Maker, it is now available on its own and works in Blender 4.2 and above.
The workflow is direct: select your object in the 3D Viewport, then click the Analyze Mesh button in Blender's side panel to see snapshot stats. Results cover total counts for vertices, edges, faces, tris, quads, ngons, and poles. Edit Mode analyzes the base mesh elements, while Object Mode includes modifiers for a complete post-modification analysis. When a mesh changes, the Re-Analyze Mesh button refreshes the results rather than processing constantly.
This tool focuses on topology type counts, not manifold checks, so it does not detect non-manifold geometry. Installation follows Blender's standard add-on process, full documentation is hosted on the developer's page, and a demo video is available.
