Auto Paint Boundaries handles face selection for painting in Blender across Texture Paint, Vertex Paint, and Weight Paint. On click, it finds the face under your cursor, expands to a connected region using your active boundary rules, enables Face Masking automatically, and passes the stroke through to your normal brush. There is no manual face selection and no replacement tools.
Boundary rules can be enabled individually or combined, for example Sharp Edges plus UV Seams. Available rules cover Topology, Single Face, Mesh Island, Face Set, Surface Normal Angle with an adjustable threshold, and Edge Attributes including Sharp Edges, UV Seams, Crease Edges, and Bevel Weight. Single Face always limits the result to exactly one polygon. You can toggle boundaries and pin masks directly from the tool header.
Pin Mask Area keeps the mask between strokes instead of clearing it, with Shift+Click to add, Ctrl+Click to subtract, and Ctrl+Shift+Click to replace. Face selections can be saved as named presets on the object and reloaded later with one click. Shortcuts and startup defaults are configured in the add-on preferences.
