B SubEditor is a Blender add-on from Dinesh007 that handles subtitle management inside the Text Editor and Video Sequence Editor. It covers importing, exporting, and synchronizing subtitles in SRT, VTT, SBV, and plain TXT formats.
In the Text Editor, subtitles import into a new text block through Text > Import Subtitle, and export back out in SRT, VTT, or SBV. A footer shows details about the current text block, including total line count, cursor position, the number of selected characters, and the indentation spaces of the current line. A checkbox in the Text Info panel controls whether spaces are counted among the selected characters.
Within the VSE, the add-on builds text strips from an imported subtitle text block. You pick the text block and target channel, and an optional Connect Strips setting joins the created strips end-to-end for synchronization with video content. Selected VSE text strips can also be exported back to a new text block in the Text Editor in SRT format.
