Baga Grove - Evermotion is a GeoPack for Blender, created in partnership with Evermotion, that scatters assets by drawing where you want them placed with no complex setup. Assets arrange themselves automatically to produce realistic groves: smaller assets settle at the grove border while larger ones stay in the center, generating realistic vegetal compositions.
You can use your own assets, selecting them from the Asset Browser or in the 3D view, then pressing J > Scatter on your surfaces (or Scatter from Asset Browser). You can also create and save your own Groves through the BagaPie GeoPack system, though understanding GeoPack is essential for building custom groves. Adding a grove requires selecting at least one surface, but you can draw on any surface.
Performance options include Camera Culling, which skips rendering objects outside the camera's view, Proxy, which uses simplified models for complex objects, and the ability to display only a percentage of particles for smoother viewport navigation. It is designed for foreground detail rather than extensive scattering. It runs on BagaPie, which is free and included, and supports Blender 4.0 through 5.2 under a GPL license.
