Bricker earns its place in the superhive library for turning any mesh, animation, or Mantaflow simulation into a brick model without manual placement, and it pairs with companion addons like BrickSculpt, ABS Plastic Materials, and AssemblMe.
Bricker converts any 3D mesh in Blender into a photo-real brick sculpture at any scale or orientation. Through its UI you choose the brick type (bricks and plates, studs, cylinders, cones, or custom objects), materials (source object materials and UV colors, random, or custom), level of detail such as underside, customizable logo and bevel, plus shell thickness, brick size, internal support structure, connectivity, and brick merge behavior.
Beyond static models, Bricker turns animation and simulation into frame-by-frame animated brick sculptures ready to render or build in real life. It handles keyframes, soft and rigid body physics, armature, cloth, and parented animation, and version 1.8 added brickifying fluid, smoke and fire simulations made with Mantaflow, with controls for smoke density, fire color, and fire intensity.
Generation is cached and runs on a background processor, and the memory-efficient mesh generator can produce millions of bricks using object instancing and selective detailing. For physical builders, Bricker reports brick count, weight in grams, and real-world metric dimensions, and supports internal supports like cross-beams, lattice, or columns. It also pairs with the BrickSculpt, ABS Plastic Materials, and AssemblMe addons.
Bricker - Photoreal Brick Sculptures & Simulations is best for blender artists building brick sculptures from meshes, converting animation or simulations into animated brick models, or preparing real-world buildable brick models.
Bricker - Photoreal Brick Sculptures & Simulations is completely free to download and use.
Bricker supports a range of Blender releases, with compatibility for Blender 4.1, 4.2 LTS, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5 LTS, plus Blender 5.0. Recent updates added support for 4.5 LTS and 5.0, fixed user-reported bugs in the 4.3 and 4.4 versions, and restored backwards compatibility to Blender 4.4 and earlier. If you are on one of these versions, the addon is built to run in your setup. For the most current compatibility details, check the developer's page.
Bricker converts animation and simulation into frame-by-frame animated brick sculptures ready to render or build in real life. It handles keyframed animation, soft and rigid body physics, armature, cloth, and parented animation. Version 1.8 added the ability to brickify fluid, smoke and fire simulations made with Mantaflow, with controls for smoke density, fire color, and fire intensity. Each frame becomes its own brick model, which supports both CG and stop-motion animation workflows.
Bricker was designed with real-life brick building in mind. You can set the maximum brick size for your model, such as 1x8 or 2x10, define the thickness of the outer brick shell, and customize the internal support structure using cross-beams, lattice, or columns. Once the model is generated, Bricker reports physical model information including brick count, weight in grams, and real-world dimensions in metric units. Combined with the AssemblMe addon, you can also generate a step-by-step build animation inside Blender.
Bricker is listed as free in this catalog. Pricing and licensing can change over time, so for current terms and any options, check the developer's page directly. Bricker also has companion products, including BrickSculpt for sculpting brick details, ABS Plastic Materials for a library of colors inspired by the LEGO brick palette, and AssemblMe for build animations, which may be offered separately.
