Mio3 Flex earns its place in the Blender Extensions library as an independent take on MiraTools-style loop smoothing, focused on turning jagged edge loops into clean curves through an editable spline.
Mio3 Flex is a Blender add-on for reshaping edge loops into smooth, freeform curves. It drives the mesh with a controllable path: select an edge loop, run Path Deform from the Mio3 sidebar, and edit the spline's control points to reshape the loop.
The tool smooths vertices along the curve and includes X-axis mirroring for both control points and mesh, axis constraints, and control-point density that auto-adjusts to vertex count. The original edges stay visible as a reference while you work. Selecting several edge loops creates an independent path for each, and a Quick button applies the deformation instantly when you don't need the path controls.
Mio3 Flex is an independent implementation influenced by MiraTools. It runs on Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, and version 1.0.4 adds support for an industry-compatible keymap.

Mio3 Flex is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. You install it through the Blender Extensions system by dragging the add-on into Blender or installing it from disk, and it requires no special permissions. Once enabled, it appears under 3D View > Sidebar > Mio3, and that panel location can be changed from the add-on's preferences category field. Version 1.0.4 also adds support for an industry-compatible keymap.
Mio3 Flex lives in the 3D View sidebar under the Mio3 tab, though you can change that category from the add-on's preferences. To use it, select the edge loop you want to edit and click Mio3 Flex, then Path Deform. If you have several edge loops selected, the add-on creates an independent path for each one. When you don't need the path controls, the Quick button applies the deformation right away.
Mio3 Flex uses keyboard and mouse controls while deforming. Drag a control point to move it, or press G to move selected points; Ctrl-click the spline adds or removes a point, and Del removes selected points. Shift or Alt with the mouse wheel changes control-point counts, the up and down arrows adjust curve strength, X, Y and Z lock the movement axis, M toggles mirror mode, and R resets. Enter, Tab or a click on empty space confirms, while Esc cancels.
Mio3 Flex is listed as free here and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. For current licensing terms and the latest release, check the developer's page. The add-on states that it requires no special permissions. It is an independent implementation influenced by MiraTools, developed by mio, with source code available on the developer's GitHub repository.
