CADBase Library earns its place in the blender_extensions library as a bridge between Blender and the CADBase platform, downloading Blender file sets while leaving files for other CAD programs untouched.
CADBase Library is a Blender add-on for working with a local library of components sourced from the CADBase platform. Favorite components appear at the root level, selecting one shows its list of modifications, and opening a modification displays files from the Blender file set inside the Blender folder. These levels map to folder locations under the path set in the Library path property.
Data moves through three navigable levels: the root level lists all local library components, the component level shows modifications for a selected component, and the file set level displays files within a modification's Blender file set.
