Distribute Objects Addon is a Blender add-on for dispersing objects that already exist in your scene so they no longer overlap. After selecting a set of objects, you specify a length, and the add-on spaces them along one axis by that distance in an orthogonal grid-like arrangement, using a definable starting point such as the 3D cursor or the active object.
It targets three situations in particular: dealing with overlapping objects, working with multiple assets linked or appended from an external file at once, and distributing different objects regularly across a scene like an array. Linked Collection Instances often land at the scene origin or 3D cursor position all overlapping, where you can't easily tell them apart or select them independently. Here, separating and moving them is two mouse clicks away. It also suits populating a scene, such as placing objects over a shelf, a table, or along a street or wall.
Note that it does not duplicate or create objects, and it does not account for object size. Spacing is measured relative to object centers only, so widely varying sizes or misaligned centers can still overlap or look uneven.
