Geo-C-Thru is a Blender add-on from VIDARIA DESIGNS Ltd. that gives real-time control over how objects appear in the viewport based on what you have selected. Objects can automatically become transparent, solid, or wireframe. You can set non-selected objects to turn semi-transparent or switch to wireframe when you select an object, or make your active selection transparent to see what's behind it. These controls are independent, so you can configure them as needed.
The preset system lets you save and load any combination of display and viewport settings, with presets available from the viewport header. Nine presets ship with the add-on, including a Blueprint preset for clean technical screenshots and X-Ray presets that separate selected from non-selected objects. You can also assign permanent display rules to a specific collection and set custom override colors, switching the Color Source between Material, Texture, or Random.
Version 2.0 added a panel to manage viewport lighting, cavity, shadows, backgrounds, and orthographic locking. The 2.1 update introduces a MatCap shading mode, a toggle to force objects solid, a raised preset limit, collapsible subpanels, and various fixes. It's built for working on specific parts of a dense model while keeping the rest of the scene visible.
