Gridsnap Pro is not a full CAD replacement; it's described as a lightweight precision toolkit built for artists who want more control inside Blender. Gridsnap Pro lets you save important measurements into the scene as Saved Dimensions and keep them visible as technical references. You can export those saved dimensions to CSV or JSON, and export your visible Saved Dimensions as an SVG blueprint from a top, front or side projection. A Saved Dimension can also be marked Live, so it re-measures with one click when the geometry changes. Beyond that, the last measurement result can be copied to the clipboard directly from the viewport for quick reuse.
Gridsnap Pro can snap selected object origins or vertices to a fixed real-world grid step, and you can work with custom snap increments rather than a single preset value. Snapping can run on all axes at once, or be limited to only X, Y or Z when you need to constrain movement in one direction. You can also snap an object's origin to the grid, and snap objects onto an active target either together or individually. To keep measurements accurate, it can align object rotation to world axes and apply scale.
Gridsnap Pro's Shape Quality check analyzes selected outlines and loops to see how close they are to ideal shapes, including circles, ellipses, squares, rectangles, diamonds, triangles, hexagons and regular polygons. After a check, you can select the problem vertices it flags and correct the outline toward the expected shape using an adjustable correction strength. It can also correct selected arcs to a clean circular shape or fit them to a target angle, such as 30, 45 or 90 degrees, and rebuild a three-point corner to any target angle with Fit Corner to Angle.
