Lutiy Timeline earns its place in the Blender extensions library for folding camera, frame-range, and resolution presets into one N-panel tab, with both automatic save-current and manual preset creation. The 1.0.1 update removed UIlists.
Lutiy Timeline is a preset manager for Blender that handles cameras, timeline frame ranges, and resolution settings together. You can save the current setup from the active camera and timeline in one click, or build a preset manually by setting each parameter yourself.
Presets live in a visual list where each entry shows its details. You reorder them with up and down buttons, edit them inline, and apply any one with a single click. Applying a preset switches the camera, sets the frame range and resolution, and jumps the timeline to the start frame. An active preset info panel keeps the current settings in view.
The add-on adds a LutiyTimeline tab under the N panel in the 3D Viewport. It requests file permission to save and load preset configurations. Lutiy Timeline is aimed at animation projects and scenes that use multiple cameras or several frame ranges at different resolutions. It runs on Blender 4.2 LTS and newer under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
Lutiy Timeline is best for animation projects and scenes with multiple cameras or several frame ranges at different resolutions.
Lutiy Timeline is completely free to download and use.
Lutiy Timeline lists compatibility with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, so it runs on the 4.2 LTS release and later versions. The current release is version 1.0.1, published in September 2025 and updated shortly after. If you run a Blender version older than 4.2, the add-on falls outside its stated compatibility range, so check your Blender version before installing. For the most current compatibility details, refer to the developer's page.
Lutiy Timeline adds its own tab to the N panel in the 3D Viewport, labelled LutiyTimeline. Open the N panel in the viewport and select that tab to reach the controls for saving, applying, and reordering presets. From there you can click Save Current to create a preset from the active camera and timeline, use Add Manual for custom settings, or click Apply next to any preset in the list to switch to it.
Lutiy Timeline is listed as free here and is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. That license covers how you can use, modify, and share the add-on. For the most current licensing terms and any updates, check the developer's page. The add-on has been downloaded several thousand times and carries a small file size, so it installs quickly through Blender's extensions system.
Lutiy Timeline requests file permission in Blender, which it uses to save and load preset configurations. This lets the add-on store your camera, frame range, and resolution presets and read them back when you apply one. No other permissions are listed for the extension. If you want to review the permission details before installing, they appear on the add-on's extensions page alongside the version history and reviews.
