miauu's PinMyFiles is a script for 3ds Max that lets you pin your most frequently used or important files for quick and easy access. It works alongside the default recent files list, adding options to pin, sort, open, and reveal files in File Explorer. Any file can be pinned to the list, and pinned files stay visible even after they drop out of the standard recent files list.
Files that no longer exist appear in a different color, and files that are deleted, renamed, or moved show up in red so you can tell they can't be opened. You can sort recently opened and pinned files by name or by last accessed date, and thumbnail previews are shown for both recent and pinned files.
A right-click context menu gives you options to open, merge, or XRef a file, including without dialogs for faster access. You can also open a file's containing folder from that menu or with the middle mouse button. The script supports 3ds Max 2020 through 2026 and is listed here as free.
