Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) earns its place in the Superhive library by automating the metarig step and baking Mixamo animation straight onto a generated Rigify rig from a single import action.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) handles the import of Mixamo animations into Blender without manual metarig work. When you import a Mixamo .fbx, the add-on creates the metarig automatically and generates a Rigify rig that drives the imported Mixamo rig, with the Mixamo animation baked onto Rigify. You can tweak the metarig and regenerate Rigify afterwards if you want to.
The workflow starts from File > Import > Mixamo to Rigify (.fbx). Selecting a file and clicking Import produces the finished Rigify rig. A "Just One Rigify" option lets you import several .fbx files as one Rigify carrying multiple animations, while leaving it unchecked brings each file in as its own independent Rigify rig. You can also import multiple Mixamo animations onto a single Rigify rig that already exists in your scene.
Installation follows the standard Blender add-on process through Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, installing the mixamo_to_rigify.zip archive and enabling it. The add-on is released under the GPL license. A demo video is available.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) is best for blender users bringing Mixamo .fbx animations onto Rigify rigs, whether as single or multiple rigs.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) is completely free to download and use.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) lists support for Blender 4.3, 4.2, 4.1, 4.0, 3.0, and a range of 2.9x versions down to 2.8. Blender 3.0 support was added in the 1.0.2 update and Blender 4.2 support in the 4.2.0 update. If you are on one of these versions, check the developer's page to confirm the current build matches your exact Blender release before installing.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) installs like other Blender add-ons. Open Edit > Preferences > Add-ons, click Install, select the downloaded mixamo_to_rigify.zip archive, then tick the checkbox to activate it. Once enabled, you access the tool from File > Import > Mixamo to Rigify (.fbx). From there you select your Mixamo .fbx file and click Import to generate the Rigify rig.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) offers a "Just One Rigify" checkbox in the import dialog. Check it if you want to import your animations onto a single Rigify rig; leave it unchecked to bring in multiple .fbx files each as an independent Rigify rig. The add-on can also import multiple Mixamo animations onto a Rigify rig that already exists in your Blender scene.
Mixamo To Rigify (In One Click) is listed as free in this catalog and is released under the GPL license. Licensing and pricing terms can change, so check the developer's page for the current details before downloading. The add-on has received updates including a KeyError fix for Mixamo rigs, support for different finger combinations, and correct handling of very small rigs.
