Mod Pinner is a 3ds Max macro script that pins any modifier to the top of the modifier stack. It's useful when a modifier such as TurboSmooth or Shell needs to always stay on top while you continue adding and editing modifiers below it.
Pinned modifiers are labeled with a bullet symbol (●) by default so they stand out at a glance. The prefix and suffix are not customizable, and only one modifier can be pinned per object at a time. This is the first version of the script.
Mod Pinner runs on 3ds Max 2021 through 2027 and installs as a macro. After unzipping the archive, you drag the ModPinner.mzp file into the viewport, or run it through Scripting > Run Script if drag-and-drop isn't available, then click Install. Once installed, it appears under Customize > Customize User Interface in Group: Main UI, Category: BodyulCG, where you can assign it to a hotkey or place it on a toolbar.
