NLA Batch Editor is designed to streamline the workflow in Blender's NLA Editor. It provides a set of tools for batch operations across multiple NLA elements, covering batch pushdown, selection management, track editing and strip editing.
The batch pushdown tools push down multiple selected objects' actions to NLA strips, with track and strip renaming on pushdown, random start frame options, control over mute states, and the ability to preserve actions on pushdown. Selection management adds advanced selection tools with filter-based options and the ability to transfer selections between tracks and strips. Track editing covers batch track data modifications, toggling or setting mute and lock states, track duplication and custom naming, while strip editing offers batch strip data modification and strip property controls.
The add-on is aimed at situations like managing multiple objects, repeated actions, or preparing content for WebGL, Three.js and glTF/GLB exports. It adds panels to the NLA Editor's sidebar — NBE | Batch Pushdown and NBE | Batch Edit — for accessing these operations directly.
