Procedural Light Studio Addon is a geometry-node-based lighting tool for Blender, built by EdenWeby 3D to help digital artists and designers create realistic lighting effects for their 3D models. It provides five light types—left, right, front, rim, and top panel lights—that illuminate different parts of a scene or object.
The left and right lights simulate sources coming from the sides, with adjustable angles and intensities for shadows and highlights. The rim light produces a halo or rim effect around an object's edges, with adjustable intensity. Top emission panels simulate light from above to add depth and dimensionality. A separate Volumetric panel adds atmospheric fog you can edit, add noise to, and recolor.
Getting started involves scaling your model to Blender's scene scale, deleting existing lights, positioning the model facing the Y axis, and clicking Add studio to adjust the settings. Setting the background scene color to black is optional. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
