Quick Workspace Toggle is a Blender add-on from young that combines workspace toggling with a pie menu and/or keyboard shortcuts. It builds on Blender's workspaces so you can switch between the ones you have set up using a single shortcut or a pie menu selection.

Quick Workspace Toggle installs like other Blender add-ons: open Blender's preferences, go to the add-on tab, and install the zip file. You can also define a main workspace if you want a fixed one in the toggle. After configuring everything, saving it into your startup blend file keeps the setup in place for future sessions.
Quick Workspace Toggle supports a maximum of 8 workspaces in the preference panel, and anything beyond that, such as a ninth workspace, is ignored. Their order follows numeric and alphabetic naming, so a workspace named starting with 0 sits above one starting with 3, and one starting with 'e' sits above one starting with 'f'. You can rename workspaces, for example by adding a number in front, to change where they land in the list.
Quick Workspace Toggle maps workspaces 1 through 8 to fixed pie menu positions: 1 is left, 2 right, 3 bottom, 4 top, 5 top-left, 6 top-right, 7 bottom-left, and 8 bottom-right. Because position depends on order, renaming a workspace with a leading number changes both its slot in the list and its spot in the pie menu. This lets you place the workspaces you switch to most in the directions you prefer.
Quick Workspace Toggle can run into hotkey conflicts when another operator already uses the same key. For instance, the key '1' is generally used to switch to vertex mode, so assigning it to a toggle will not work. To resolve this, open Preferences, go to Keymap, and search the key binding to see every operator using that key. You can then either pick a different key for the toggle or deactivate the other operators using the key so there is no conflict.
