Road Path Creator earns its place in the superhive library for turning drawn paths into textured roads, with a built-in PBR creator that populates materials from a single image. It has logged 300+ sales, and its developer, EdenWeby 3D, is a Blender Development Fund contributor.
Road Path Creator adds a road-drawing addon to Blender, accessible from the N-Panel. You select a preset, then draw the path you want and the chosen preset road is drawn along it. Paths can be curved or straight, determined by how you draw them, so you are not limited to a single road type.
The workflow runs through a few buttons. Click Draw Road to enter Edit Mode and draw your path, Draw Mode to move into the drawing mode for the selected path, and Add Road to add another road to draw on. The Pavement Road preset works as a starting point for custom roads such as mud grounds, while the Mud Road preset handles roads with a transparent alpha channel.
A built-in PBR texture creator builds a material from a single image. In the Custom tab you browse your own Base Color, Normal, Roughness and Displacement maps and the rest is handled for you. The settings panel exposes UV parameters, transformations, shader properties and more for further material editing. It works with Blender 4.3 through 5.1 and is released under the GPL license.
Road Path Creator is best for blender artists building road and path geometry by drawing curves and applying custom PBR textures.
Road Path Creator is completely free to download and use.
Road Path Creator lists support for Blender versions 4.3 through 5.1, so it covers current 4.x releases and reaches into the 5.x range. The addon installs into Blender and appears in the N-Panel, where you pick a preset and start drawing. If you run a version outside that range, check the developer's page for the latest compatibility details before installing, since supported versions can shift as new Blender releases arrive.
Road Path Creator lives on the N-Panel in Blender. Select the road preset you want, then click Draw Road to enter Edit Mode and draw your path; the selected preset road is drawn along it. Click Draw Mode to move into the drawing mode for the chosen path, and click Add Road when you want to add another road to draw on. Paths can be curved or straight depending on how you draw them, so a single tool covers different road shapes.
Road Path Creator includes a PBR texture creator that builds a material from a single image. To make a custom road, select a preset matching the kind of road you want, open the Custom tab, and browse your own Base Color, Normal, Roughness and Displacement maps; the rest is populated for you. For further adjustments, the settings panel exposes UV parameters, transformations, shader properties and more, so you can change the look without setting everything up by hand.
Road Path Creator is listed as free in this catalog and is released under the GPL license. Pricing and licensing on the developer's own store can differ and may change over time, so check the developer's page for current terms before you download. The addon has recorded 300+ sales, and its developer, EdenWeby 3D, is a Blender Development Fund contributor. For questions, bug reports or documentation, the developer's page is the place to look.
