Solid Color Randomizer is a Blender addon from Nanomanpro that randomly generates colors for selected objects in Solid Mode view. A single click assigns random colors to your selection, which makes it easier to read and navigate complex scenes. Using the Select Grouped - Color command, you can identify and select parts of a model that share the same color.
The addon adds an SCR tab to the side panel with settings for the saturation and brightness of the generated colors, along with a color field for quick edits and buttons for users who lack free hotkeys. You can assign the same random color to objects belonging to individual collections, with the Scene Collection excluded, and a button restores the default white color to selected objects. The Set Random Colors operator assigns various random colors across a selection.
Unlike Blender's built-in Random View, which is a display mode covering all separate objects with no control, Solid Color Randomizer lets you choose which objects to color and the saturation and brightness range to use. Documentation is included, and a demo video is available.
