Why we like it

A compact add-on with a small download size and no special permission requirements, released under the GPL v3.0 or later. Version 1.0.3 arrived in October 2025.

What is Spline Generator?

Spline Generator adds parametric spline creation to Blender through the Add Curve menu. It provides three spline categories to choose from — Simple, Fractal and Chaotic — and exposes its settings through slider-based options. As values change, the spline updates dynamically.

The add-on ships with a set of presets, including Lorenz Attractor, Rossler Attractor, Dadras Attractor, Halvorsen Attractor, Torus and Rhodonea. These give starting points across the different spline types available in the tool.

Spline Generator is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, and is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. It requires no special permissions and has a small footprint. It can be added by dragging and dropping the archive into Blender or by installing from disk. The current release is version 1.0.3.

Who is Spline Generator best for?

Spline Generator is best for blender users who want to generate parametric splines, including attractor-based and mathematical curve shapes, through slider-driven controls.

How much does Spline Generator cost?

Spline Generator is completely free to download and use.
