Ultimate Vertex Color Toolkit is a Blender add-on from Gatyh Interactive for generating and editing vertex colors across a mesh. It bundles baking, gradient, noise, and channel tools into one interface, and version 1.1 adds full RGBA support so core and utility features work across the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha channels.
On the generation side, it can bake ambient occlusion and curvature directly to vertex colors, create edge wear and weathering effects, and apply Perlin, Wave, or Musgrave procedural noise with control over scale, detail, strength, and contrast. A Hierarchical Gradient System builds wind masks and weighted gradients from material hierarchy for foliage such as trees, palms, and plants, while linear, radial, and projection masks handle directional, circular, and view- or normal-based effects.
Utility tools include a Channel Manager for copying, swapping, and blending channels, a channel protection system, one-click fill operations, a selected-vertices-only mode, and target channel selection. A real-time viewport toggles between RGB, R, G, B, and Off modes, and One-Click Export Preparation configures meshes for engines including Unity and Unreal.
