Align Pivot is a collection of scripts for managing object pivots in 3ds Max, developed by Kstudio. The Align Pivot (Smart/Standard) script opens an interface for setting the pivot by a specified location point. In Standard mode, with Smart Mode off, the pivot is set depending on the object's bounding box, while Smart Mode sets it based on the object's surface rather than only its dimensions. The Use Local Transformations option places the pivot in local coordinates, or in world coordinates when disabled.
Offset to Center shifts the pivot toward the center in percentage or system units, with positive and negative values, applied to all selected objects. In closed groups it affects the whole group while leaving the inner objects' pivots unchanged. Matching one-click variants set the pivot without showing the interface, reusing previously specified values.
Align Pivot to Face places the pivot at the mouse click point, the clicked face center, or the surface center, and Align Pivot (Using Snap) snaps to Vertex, Bounding box, or Face center. Reset Pivot, Align Pivot to Center, and Align Pivot to Bottom round out the set.
