Animation Transform Offset earns its place for collapsing an object transform and an animation offset into one shortcut-driven step. It ranks 325 on the Blender extensions site, and its scope is deliberately narrow: transforming objects while shifting their animation curves by the same amount.
Animation Transform Offset is a Blender add-on from softyoda that transforms objects and offsets their entire animation in a single action. It adds Shift+G, Shift+R, and Shift+S shortcuts for moving, rotating, and scaling animated objects, and it also exposes buttons in the Animation tab of the N-panel.
When you transform an object, the add-on offsets its animation curves by the same amount, with each keyframe adding or subtracting the delta transform relative to the new location. It works with multiple objects at once and preserves relative animation motion, so the timing and shape of the existing motion stay intact.
The workflow is direct: select one or more animated objects, trigger a transform with the shortcut or panel button, move the object, and confirm with a left-click. Version 1.0.0 is compatible with Blender 4.3.2 and newer and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. Source and issue reporting live on the developer's GitHub page.
Animation Transform Offset is best for adjusting animated scenes by transforming one or more objects while offsetting their existing animation at the same time.
Animation Transform Offset is completely free to download and use.
Animation Transform Offset lists compatibility with Blender 4.3.2 and newer, so it targets recent Blender releases rather than older builds. Version 1.0.0 is the release covered here. Because compatibility is defined by a minimum version, later Blender releases fall within the supported range. For confirmation against a specific build, or to check whether a newer version has appeared, the developer's GitHub page is the place to look.
Animation Transform Offset offsets an object's animation curves by the same amount you transform the object, so each keyframe adds or subtracts the delta transform relative to the new location. You select one or more animated objects, press Shift+G, Shift+R, or Shift+S, transform normally, and confirm with a left-click. It works with multiple objects and preserves relative animation motion, keeping the existing timing intact while shifting the whole animation.
Animation Transform Offset installs like other Blender extensions: drag and drop the add-on into Blender, or download it and install from disk through Blender's extension preferences. Once enabled, it adds the Shift+G/R/S shortcuts along with buttons in the Animation tab of the N-panel. It requires no special permissions and is a small download. The developer's GitHub page hosts the source and issue tracker if you need to report a problem.
Animation Transform Offset is listed as free here and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, which means its source code can be used and modified under the terms of that license. The extension requires no special permissions to run in Blender. For current licensing details or any later changes, check the developer's GitHub page, where the source and issue tracker are hosted.
