Auto Sync Object Data Names is a Blender add-on from GeeDoubleU that keeps object data names aligned with their object names. When you rename an object, the add-on renames the linked data block to match, and you can add a custom prefix to new object data names.
The add-on handles object data shared by multiple objects, letting you choose to rename it whenever a user is renamed or leave it unchanged, with an optional warning when data has multiple users. You can also disable specific object types, such as Meshes, Curves, Lights, and Cameras, so only the types you want are affected.
Alongside automatic syncing, it includes an operator to manually sync names for multiple objects in Object Mode, reached through the Object menu or the right-click menu. You can affect selected objects or all objects in the blend file, include children recursively, or use Inverse to replace an object's name with its object data name. Inverse follows the Affected Object Types preferences.
