Auto Krita To Blender installs in two parts because it is divided between Blender and Krita. On the Blender side, open Edit, Preferences, Add-ons, Install, then select the Auto_KritaToBlender_v2_0.py file. On the Krita side, double-click the install.bat file in the archive, then open Krita and go to Settings, Configure Krita, Python Plugin Manager and check Export Image. After that, export.jpg and export.png appear under Tools in the menu bar.
Auto Krita To Blender lets you set up hotkeys for a faster workflow by right-clicking on export.jpg and export.png. The default shortcut for export.jpg is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Y and for export.png is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Z. You can configure them under Settings, Configure, Krita, Keyboard, Shortcuts, Scripts, ExportImage_v1_1. The customizable shortcut option was added in the July 2020 update, which introduced both the default keys and the ability to set your own.
