Btools earns its place in the Superhive library by gathering common object tasks — selection, renaming, materials, snapping, alignment and flipping — behind one Ctrl + W pie menu.
Btools is a collection of tools for Blender aimed at speeding up the work of building 3D models and scenes. Everything sits in a pie menu that you can open with the Ctrl + W keyboard shortcut, keeping the set of tools within easy reach.
The collection covers a range of common tasks. Objects Checker Deselect applies an alternating selected/deselected checker pattern across objects, similar to Blender's own Checker Deselect. Super Rename renames objects, meshes, materials and collections, handling multiple items at once and adding a suffix for organization. Add Materials applies a material to any number of selected objects, while Remove Materials lists the materials on a selection and removes any with a single click.
Positioning tools round out the set: Snap Origin to Selection, Snap Objects to 3D Cursor, Object to Selection and Align Objects, which aligns to the X, Y or Z axis or to another object. Flip Tools flip selected objects, and a new operator finds the center of an arc or circle. Documentation and a demo video are available.
Btools is best for blender artists building 3D models or scenes who want faster object selection, renaming, material handling, snapping and alignment from a single pie menu.
Btools is completely free to download and use.
Btools opens as a pie menu, and you can bring it up quickly with the Ctrl + W keyboard shortcut. From there you reach its collection of tools for selection, renaming, materials, snapping, alignment and flipping. The pie menu keeps these tools together in one place, which is how Btools presents its range of essential tools for building 3D models or scenes in Blender.
Btools includes Super Rename, a renaming tool that works on objects, meshes, materials and collections. Super Rename can rename multiple items at once, and it can add a suffix to the name for extra organization. That covers the common renaming targets in a Blender project from a single tool, so you can batch several items in one action rather than editing each name on its own.
Btools sets the viewport display color to a random color by default when you apply a material with its Add Materials tool. If you want a different color, you can change it by opening the popup menu and selecting a new one. Add Materials also lets you apply a single material to any number of selected objects at once, so a whole selection picks up the material in one step.
Btools provides two snapping tools. Snap Origin to Selection moves an object's origin to selected vertices, edges or faces. Snap Objects to 3D Cursor lets you pick vertices, edges or faces as the snap point and then snap objects to the 3D cursor with a single click. Both give you a way to position objects precisely in relation to selected geometry or the cursor in your Blender scene.
Btools is listed as free here in the catalog. For current licensing and any terms, check the developer's page, since those details can change over time. On the tools side, Btools bundles object checker deselect, renaming, adding and removing materials, origin and cursor snapping, alignment and flipping, all reachable from its pie menu via the Ctrl + W shortcut for building 3D models or scenes.
